Cluster cuss

Whenever it is Thanksgiving, and it so happens that it is today, I think of a feast that was depicted in a book I read when I was little.

Said book:
It seems uncommon to find a child that gets so depressed about things, especially things that most people get joy from. I don't know about you reader, but I can relate to Charlie Brown and his particular brand of depression.

I wish I could just hibernate from November 1st to January 1st.

In the story Peppermint Patty invites herself and a few others to Charlie Brown's for a Thanksgiving dinner. The problem is that he is going to his Grandma's and he has to put on a feast before heading to his real dinner.

One day I plan on having a Thanksgiving that looks just like this.

and we will serve toast, pretzel sticks, popcorn, jellybeans, and sundaes.

Everyone is pissed off but then they all get invited to Grandma's for some real food.

I would be pretty excited to be served ice cream for Thanksgiving. I hope you all have a lovely day!

I love that they used an illustration instead of stills from the movies.

Out of the box
Is it me or does Chewy bear a strange resemble to Will Ferrell?

Happy Life Day everybody!

yowa

You know you want to see this full scale.

I found this ad in an old architecture magazine. Who are they trying to sell these shower heads to? Gratuitous male nudity? I'm shocked, this is racy!

I saw this takeout bag from Burger King and snatched it up before it was thrown away. It's a pretty cool design for something that transports your fast food, no?

Holler

New York Magazine September 28, 2009 pg. 77

full article here

I admittedly have yet to actually listen to Ganglians, but I was amused to see them get a shout out in New York Magazine, which made it seem like they were lumped in with other Brooklyn bands. Weird. One guy said, "the artists also share a determined aversion to trendiness," but isn't releasing tapes a pretty trendy move?
