the rare case of actual laughs within the comics section

Pearls before Swine by Stephan Pastis is one of the few comic strips (in a newspaper) that can actually make me laugh from time to time.

I've noticed though, that the first panel is always where the good stuff is. In fact, I don't even need the rest of the panels.Or maybe I just love setups and am never satisfied with the payoffs.
